I find it funny that the standard response is bringing up the fact that our families weren't there. There's nothing you can do to me to make me change my convictions. I will not hate airplanes if my family dies in a crash. I will not focus on the gun if my family gets gunned down. Trying to paint this as lack of empathy when the tweets are clearly BTFO'ing the vultures who abuse tragedy for political clout is ironic.

  20. One of those pilots only caught a glimpse and isn't sure of what she saw, and the main guy Cmdr Fravor was already caught feeding into the UFO nonsense. The thermal sight on the targeting pod has an edge contrast enhancer which adds an outline via software, if you look at an object in the white hot mode you get a black outline and if you look using the black hot mode you get a white outline. While showing the footage the Elizondo guy said the craft had cool air around it. Fravor should have stepped in and told him that it's just a contrast enhancer to help pilots discern targets. But he chose to not correct him to feed into the conspiracy.

  37. The technique is BS but as a last resort knocking the slide out of battery does prevent the pistol from firing. For semiautomatic function the trigger mechanism has a disconnector that gets tripped by rewards slide movement. The more reliable technique is doing it to a double action revolver without the hammer cocked because grabbing the cylinder so that it can't spin also blocks the trigger from being pulled. On the other hand as soon as you let go off the revolver it can work again, while a semi-automatic pistol has a chance that the slide did not return to battery through spring pressure.

If anything, the tyrant that straight up murders everyone makes his evil known and despite the fear instilled into the population it drives resistance. The fact that you aren't killed for voicing your opinion isn't an automatic proof of anything.
