@80Elminster "How many before people at least take it a little serious?" - it's not about the number of people pulling an Argument from Authority fallacy. Somehow all of these people have zero proof to show? In a court of law you need proof.

One of those pilots only caught a glimpse and isn't sure of what she saw, and the main guy Cmdr Fravor was already caught feeding into the UFO nonsense. The thermal sight on the targeting pod has an edge contrast enhancer which adds an outline via software, if you look at an object in the white hot mode you get a black outline and if you look using the black hot mode you get a white outline. While showing the footage the Elizondo guy said the craft had cool air around it. Fravor should have stepped in and told him that it's just a contrast enhancer to help pilots discern targets. But he chose to not correct him to feed into the conspiracy.

The video being real doesn't mean they weren't debunked. The video being real just means it was captured by an aircraft. Doesn't prove what it was.

Doesn't look like a tictac and Fravor is not reliable since he got in touch with the UFO nutters. Yeah, we won't be happy until we have evidence. Sorry, if the girlfriend goes to another school or lives in Canada, we're just going to assume she doesn't exist until proven.
