First, this dude is satirizing the kind of people who do this. Second, even if it were genuine it would be a goddamn spectacle. The poem is seen as purely self-serving.

And that's the problem. You're laughing at "Americans" because of a satirical skit, but won't say a peep about real political decisions. He doesn't just forget names, he forgot who the first lady's husband is.
