"We're not evil, just incompetent"

@baltulielkungsgunarsmiezis9714 so it's not a NAP violation to go around causing miscarriages?

We're back to the "reee show ur facs coward" era of the internet now?

@FridgemaxxedHybridoreanLiftaOG That's not how it works. If my costs is 10, and my revenue 11, I make 1 profit. If inflation halves the value of money and nothing else changes, my costs are 20 and my revenue 22 - giving me 2 profit. I seemingly doubled my profit even though my overhead raised absurdly. If revenue and overhead raise by the same standard (money is worth less) you see an increase in profit despite overhead being higher. You only go into decline when your costs rise above inflation, or inflation causes you to sell less because people are forced to restrain their expenses.

1. The justification for the grain confiscations was that grain exports were the thing that allowed for the Soviet Union to modernize their industry. Going off about stimulus checks and welfare is besides the point - to give first you need to take. If you're incompetent, you'll ruin an economy under the guise of trying to give the people more. There's a tale about killing the goose that lays the golden eggs. 2. Hasn't existed in 60 years? There's documents from the 16th century naming the territory as Ukraina or Vkraina. 3. The CIA dealing coke to Americans thing comes from Gary Webb's Dark Alliance series - which was criticized by other journalists as irresponsible journalism. Although the CIA backed the Contras and the Contras sold drugs to the relevant dealers, they were not the main players responsible for crack cocaine being introduced into the US nor were their financial gains a major source of support for Contras. If you want to talk about the Contras the Reagan administration was indeed violating weapons trade laws in an attempt to release hostages by shipping arms to Iran, and Ollie North was pocketing the money from the sales to use in Nicaragua. Dark Alliance was half-real and half-fiction as there was never an intent to specifically introduce crack into America, and the dealers in question were never relevant enough to be a major source for CIA funding.

National debt is a non-issue, it's the debt obligations increasing against the GDP that are the problem. If you have a hundred billion trillion in debt but you can constantly pay it without making a dent in your yearly budget you're better off than just having 100 million in debt but being forced to default on it.

@Not.a.bird.Person That's not greed, though. Being forced to hike prices because otherwise you can't break even is not greed, you can't redefine greed to mean "taking the bare minimum to stay afloat". Greed has to mean going above and beyond, otherwise it doesn't deserve to exist as a word.

@user-ze1ej5zb6z Didn't know Bush needed to harvest so much wind to finance the global war on terrorism that eventally his wind farm unleashed a hurricane.

Ukraine isn't the result of the USSR. The Russian bolsheviks could not defeat Ukrainian forces so a compromise was reached where Ukraine could become one of the founding members of the USSR as Ukraine SSR. The USSR did not create Ukraine, Ukraine predated it.

That's called "stealing" my guy.

@alexeistrife56 How? He said it perfectly, there is a verifiable intent in achieving war goals. There are failures in targeting and callouness but those are arguably war crimes, not genocide.

Well, violence isn't a political opinion, it's a "tool". A more apt comparison would be that Call of Duty 2019 based its enemy faction in the real world military action by Russia in Syria, therefore you're more likely to see the Russian military as particularly brutal. Though the game has you shoot people you wouldn't think about shooting people in real life to mimic the game, but if asked you may have an increased chance of supporting US intervention. If you already had a stance that made you dismiss the game's plot you'd be unaffected. Or another example, playing GTA Vice City won't make you commit crimes, but can inspire you to watch Scarface and listen to 80s songs when you otherwise wouldn't.

It's all about how you present the issue. If I heard about zoning laws like I do about the sport trans issue I'd start rolling my eyes too.

@EmperorofChinaItwillgrowlarger Anti-semites on the left are a thing. I know, it's a sight to see.

They employed them because it was the only way out. Dudes were national heroes, and trying to disband the group would send them underground. Lose-lose. But the leaders were trying to gain a foothold in politics, so the Ukrainian government puts Azov under the national guard because then anyone trying to get into a political office would have to resign from active duty. So the leader of Azov quits voluntarily and gets less than 2% of the vote in the elections. Win-win. It was the perfect play.

@KNNY_-sp6kq the giant corporations aren't paying enough because people are already complaining about the prices they pay at the giant corporation stores I guess we could tell people to drive to the closest farm and get the producef for a low price and the farmer gets more money by cutting out the middle man, but then truckers and retail workers will start protesting

People say "high rate of speed" and "high rate of acceleration" as if they're not using language to botch the entire concept of first and second order derivatives.

@SomeCanine One of the biggest gaming successes in the millenial audience was Minecraft. Some of the biggest successes in the Zoomer audience were Fortnite, Fall Guys and Among Us.
1
@SomeCanine Then explain why The Order 1886 was a flop.
1
That's a very strange hypothesis. The bio-leninism explanation seems more convincing. Because if anything, hundreds of years of death penalty would have suppressed those genetic traits from the European populace. The biggest SJWs in the US would be descendants from Italians and Greeks due to said Muslim raiders and Russians due to the Mongol occupation.

@Soriyies Many of those benefits are basically mandated by law in other countries. In those countries they're having similar economic issues.

@golovkaanna8757 taxing luxury items would cripple the industries that produce, distribute and market them. The improvements to society would be offset by job losses.
1
Taxation is a way to create demand for money and taking it out of the economy. Taxation is what allows money to be printed. Otherwise inflation would be rocketing past our current figures.
