  1. ​ @RamblingRodeo  I mean, it's not just retooling, a lower quality coal will produce more soot so it clogs stuff. They'd have to change the piping from furnace to exhaust so that it becomes less efficient but clogs less.

  3. Middle income trap. You can't just lift people out of poverty when you are still bridging the gap between poor people jobs. Now China is trying to convince kids who want to become college students to go into trades.
