@ningen7736 He can't. Ukraine found foreign volunteers to be worse than useless and asked them to go home. The only way to volunteer now is to have combat experience (they won't call you back if it's War on Terror experience) or a specialized skill that they can't easily train. Otherwise, they have locals who know the language and the land. Random foreigners only hinder them.

Most stuff used by military forces has to be manned by 18 year old conscripts ir people who chose the military as a career after running out of better options.

If they contain hazardous materials, explosives or rocket fuel it can only be done in certain places with the proprer regulations.

They're not going to be used against drones and the Iranian drones are not that cheap. People have looked at the individual components and figured they cost a lot more.

Other way around. Patriots worked against missiles but had very specific modes of failure wich have been fixed. It was Iranian drones that slipped into Saudi defenses against more modern Patriots.

And the pilots are confident they can jump out before defenses stretching for hundreds of miles take him out?

The Allies were on the offensive and the Russians are retreating. If you want a reason for it not to be hypocrisy the Allies won, Russia is losing so they're punishing civilians as revenge. Small peen syndrome.

But Ukraine has like 12 HIMARS vehicles. It's not the bulk of the aid.

Javelins exist to take out Russian tanks. Switchblades are a niche. Only a dozen HIMARS were sent. The claim that stocks are depleted is clickbait.

Not true.

@joeking5679 Funny how the wikipedia page itself state that there's no source for the claims made about civilian infrastructure. Almost as if an anti-american vandal edited the page.

@arminiuschatti2287 The fuzing system was optimized against aircraft and not missiles, and there was also a problem with the internal clock accumulating error if the system was not rebooted from time to time. There have been several improvements made over the years, and despite some controversial failures the Patriot systems in Saudi Arabia intercept most strikes nowadays.

If you consider the Ba'ath Party Headquarters to be "civilian infrastructure", sure.

False. Explosives and rocket fuel are decommissioned because past a certain date they're considered degraded. Ordnance disposal is a thing.
