@festekj The former Marine who said HIMARS wouldn't make a difference?

@gezalesko3813 Air superiority is irrelevant here. The breach is complicated by minefields. Aircraft in the air can't remove them.

They've already brought down a couple. And Wagner shot down a couple more, hilariously.

Was he truthful? He said a whole bunch of nonsense.

@festekj HIMARS are jammed and yet we see the 100,000 tungsten BBs ripping Russian supply trucks, anii-air and EW systems. You can't jam HIMARS. GPS weapons default to INS when jammed, which means they only lose a meter or two in accuracy. Barely any HIMARS are being announced? What's announced, aid packages or strikes? Strike footage is still coming out, and a recent aid package includes more HIMARS ammunition. They're not absent. Brian is lying to you. He's giving you an alternate reality which doesn't exist. He gets paid to shill for Russia. That's his job. That's why he's a washed up sex tourist.

@psychohist It's not "easy" to clear minefields under any circumstance. Close air support doesn't do the trick. Artillery can stand back enough to the point air superiority is meaningless. Even air superiority doesn't guarantee close air support but that's beside the point. The Ukrainians are unable to penetrate the minefields because they are too dense and there's enough drone and artillery density to prevent a complex breach. In regards to Ka-52 helicopters, they can use the Vikhr missile because it outranges MANPADS. We don't have a lot of mobile mid-range air defense in the West so the Ka-52 happens to exploit a gap in capabilities (though the Ukrainians are adapting and have shot a couple down so far). You're attributing far too much importance to air superiority. If air defenses are in play, your air superiority doesn't give you freedom of movement.

@festekj Bro. GPS won't work for moving targets either. I actually want to reach through the ethernet cable and get my hands around your neck Homer Simpson style because I can't believe you're wasting my time with such a nonsensical response. GPS for static targets. INS for static targets. Bam. Jamming isn't doing anything.

@festekj The pentagon leaks showed 3-1 in Ukraine's favor. You saw a badly photoshopped document posted by Dumbass Deslutska, an American woman from New Jersey who sells exotic fish and pretends to be Russian online.

@festekj If you call in a strike in a GPS position and keep jogging, you will be out of the target area by the time the munition arrives. Your GPS maps your whole trajectory. But the MUNITION is pre-loaded with a FIXED POINT in space and will travel to that location. It will not follow your jogging smartwatch or your phone. It goes towards a xx.xxxxx and yy.yyyyy coordinate. Jesus Christ you can't tell the difference between GPS strikes and your jogging map. There's no loitering drone or satellite uplink. Jamming doesn't prevent anything. Ukrainians find a target in a latitude and longitude and fire. The missile arrives within a couple of minutes. There's no drone. There's no satellite. It slams into whatever you called it in. That's why they strike ammo dumps (static) and parked vehicles (they're stopped and remain there at least for a while).

That's not Russia's nuclear doctrine.

Only 8 thousand. That's not enough

Nope. The mass graves were found.

The US wanted to pull out of Ukraine and let them fall, it was the UK that lead the aid effort.

@Lucifer0007 Self-defense isn't escalation. Shooting a 100,000 dollar missile at a million dollar tank is the opposite of escalation. It's slapping someone chasing you down with an axe. Like, are you a criminal? Do you invade people's homes and get mad at them defending themselves? You're the guy who escalates. When the day comes that you get caught in your night time activities by someone with a firearm... that's not gonna be escalation. You escalated. And for that you're gonna get a closed casket, criminal.

So can artillery. Air power is a red herring.

Well at least the MIC provides Americans with jobs, what does Russia provide?
