It gradually builds up in the later stage of the game. Most of MGS2 is like the rest of the series and it's not really this creepy. Though it had its moments like Psycho Mantis in MGS1.

More like, today you made this post. A bot made a hundred posts in the same day. Tomorrow maybe you'll just watch videos on the background and not post comments. A bot posted 100 comments anyway. So a few hundred thousand bots could output more traffic than billions of humans who use the internet normally (mostly watching/reading rather than posting).
2
Right. But human output can never match bot output. The majority of internet users are not content creators. Which means that even with an extra 1 billion internet users, a hundred thousand bots can easily flood your feed compared to just people occasionally posting their vacation photos.

That's not net neutrality. Net neutrality is just a requirement that all traffic has to be handled the same. The issue is that people blasting torrents and Netflix all day should not be treated like gamers, who for example only have to send position updates and their information is more time sensitive.

The VC were essentially wiped out. North Vietnam had to send NVA soldiers to South Vietnam to act as Viet Cong to mask the failure of the Tet Offensive. Much like the Donetsk and Luhansk people's republics had their forces wiped out and Russia sent Russian men to reconstruct their forces. Communism is genocide.

Depends. A ton of information trapped on forums or personal websites is incredibly difficult to find. Back in the day google was so good I didn't even need bookmarks, I just remembered exact sentences in the page and typed them on search, google would find the page.

If you're not posting, you can't be. The whole point of a bot is to have an active account. If you're logged off, you're inactive.

It's only manifesting itself fully about now. Image generation got better, conversation skills got better, voice generation got better. Before you could argue 4chan and reddit had bots thumbing the scale. Now it's eveywhere. It's not just you getting trolled by a faceless account on reddit, bots now have conversations with each other on twitter and post automated content on youtube.

He was a hero for being a hitman with no uniform, excluding him from the protections afforded by the laws of combat? The invaders were the North Vietnamese, puppets of the USSR regime. Today Vietnam has McDonald's and a stock market. Funny how after the USSR went away their puppets distanced themselves from socialism. Hm.

Because a communist country wouldn't use bots to shape people's opinions, right?
1
Not necessarily. Foreign nations back botting operations to change your opinion.
