@kawkasaurous And the biggest wave of concern for Dresden was after Kurt Vonnegut's book Slaughterhouse Five was released decades later. Where the author overestimated the Dresden casualties by a factor of 5x (125k vs 25k). I'm sure those who went through the Blitz did not think too hard about Dresden nor did they have the mass media to get the gory details.

@elite943able It's not about skill, it's about hyperfixations. There are more skilled people who just have better things to do, 4channers aren't necessarily more intelligent but there's a decent proportion of people who get obessed over a topic and can't leave it alone until they solve it.
