  1. MH370 flew under the radar so we have no idea where it went down after it vanished from the screen. The submarine was going to ovserve the Titanic. So we knew it had to be close to the shipwreck.

  2. There's even the story of the test pilot on a 707 doing a demo flight for the interested airline companies who pulled a complete roll. When the Boeing company rep radioed him asking "just what do you think you are doing?" his answer was "selling airplanes".

  4. Some airliners have saved money by purchasing non-certified aircraft parts. The Concorde crash at takeoff was caused by a DC-10 dropping debris into the runway. The cause for the DC-10s problem was a non-certified wear strip used in repairs.

  10. Pretty sure PhysX could have done that in 2007 simply by not having the entire scene rendered with volumetric smoke/clouds.
