Now think about the fact that people in the Air Force are still people. And thus certain behaviors will be found in their ranks just like in the general population.

  16.  @shoyupacket5572  Maybe they're not lying. Maybe they genuinely don't know what they saw and have allowed UFO nutters to poison their heads. Look at Fravor. The other guy saying "there's cold air around the aircraft, that's cold thrust". Well, Fravor should have known that the white halo around the hot spot isn't a cold area, but an edge detection algorithm that increases contrast so that the pilots can see their target better. He should have stepped in to correct the other guy and said there's no cold air anywhere. Is he lying? Or did he forget how his own sensors work? Because pilots know how to enable and disable this effect as needed. Or more simply, he's surrounded by UFO nutters and has started to act more in line with them rather than reasonable people who don't believe the sightings.
