@hharlington7156 Working for Boeing as an engineer isn't "science". As an engineering student myself, we're trained to apply science. Not to be scientists. Nothing wrong with putting a lab coat on and doing a show for children but he was told to keep the costume on and continue serving as a mouthpiece. At one point he overstepped his bounds.

Innocentious Sure. But at what point is a mechanical engineer qualified to talk about gender (biology)?

@hharlington7156 Yes, it's applied science. And to be fair there's mechanical engineers who go into research and are part of scientific studies. But that's a specific career path and it will mostly deal with materials and novel structures (like "compliant mechanisms" which use bending of the material rather than hinges/joints).
