  1. The funny thing is that if brands were concerned about downvote brigading they could just disable likes and dislikes. A ton of companies had their presence on youtube without likes or comments enabled. But I assume that marketing departments/consultants depend on engagement metrics, so they need likes and comments on social media. So we have this screwed up situation where they want feedback but don't want to know how people really feel.
