@Kagashimin I don't need to cancel anyone. Bad actions should be punished. I guess there's a statute of limitations or something, and you can't be prosecuted for doing something that was legal when you did it (ex post facto law). Don't ask me to forget. I can look for a relationship just fine. Not that you need to know, but I do hang out with people my age instead of kids.

@Kagashimin It's actually extremely relevant. You asked me something, and then claimed something. I gave direct responses. "Far more common" - they aren't. Maybe where you live they are. I simply do not see those relationships in the extended circle of my extended circle. Most age gaps seem to be within 5 years with grown ass people. Biggest one I saw was like 23/35 and it stayed at the flirting phase because the younger girl knew that it would be a mistake to get into that relationship. The biggest punishments often come from ourselves. Ever heard the story of how MMA fighter Sean Strickland kept asking "how old was she, Barry?" to Pat Barry and Rose Namajunas? He was 32 and she was 17 when they started dating but they knew each other since she was 14. She lost her fight that night and they attributed the loss to Sean's antics. If someone can bother you that much just by questioning the age, you're already beating yourself up. That's more punishment than I could deal.

"FYI, I live in Japan, where attitudes towards such things are much more lax" - Coming from the same country that had to introduce women-only train cars due to groping, maybe it's time to do some introspection. Stop trying to get inside kids' pants. Period.
