@cj1745 Actually, missiles meant to knock down aircraft are telephone poles. Usually air to air missiles have some altitude, and speed, because they're launched from aircraft. Surface to air missiles start from the ground and zero speed, so they need a large rocket booster. They also can miss the target by a few meters, so they need to carry a large warhead to make sure a near miss can still knock down the aircraft.
