  6. +shaka deveaux they didn't block research, they just managed to get the CDC to not fund studies which would be used to support gun control. You can get funding from anyone else (such as anti-gun billionaires like Bloomberg who donate millions for these causes), just not the government. And you know why that happened? Because some researchers kept publishing shoddy studies with poor methodology, essentially getting money for doing bad science. Want to blame someone? Blame the anti-gun researches who abused the system and ruined it for the rest.

  12. +JoLayne Skoglund handguns are semi-automatic. I mean, revolvers aren't, but they fire just as fast. Even in the UK semi-auto shotguns (which are very destructive at close range) are hunting weapons and legal. You claim to support the right to own guns, then at least research about guns before using your "gun rights supporter" status to support gun policy. The vast majority of countries allow semi-automatic weapons. A lot of hunting weapons are semi-auto. Can you actually name a feature of an AR-15 you can't get from a hunting weapon?

The US military has "superior weapons" but the population can easily stop the logistical backbone that keeps it fed with ammunition and fuel. You think a convoy would survive an American highway unscathed to keep the F-35s fueled and armed?

Is it right of the breakfast, or right of the people? Does it say that the food has to be healthy? No, just that you have the right to it. So it doesn't even need to be a well-balanced breakfast. Actually read what the founding fathers wrote at the time, that no free man should be barred from owning arms, etc you don't need to be in a militia. Either way, the Militia Act of 1903 makes all men 18 to 45 part of the militia.
