They've beat the Russian volunteers.

About to capture Bakhmut for two weeks.

They're active duty now.

Because they have to. Even if you shot someone in the street in plain view they'd say you are the "alleged shooter".

Ukraine is defending itself. Russis is attacking. It's inherently different.

@a.brekkan4965 No, it's not the same because defensive and offensive operations are inherently different. The defender has an advantage. This is clearly seen in Bakhmut drone footage, where Russian forces are charging into positions already littered with bodies from the previous charge. The losses are insane when you go on the offensive with conscripts.

@a.brekkan4965 But Ukraine has professional soldiers for offensives. And their amateurs have had months of training and combat to become pros. It's Russia that lost their professional soldiers and now has to resort to amateurs. For offensives. So yes, still different. Ukraine has the troops for offensives. Russia doesn't, and sends them to die anyway.

@a.brekkan4965 But they aren't, as evidenced by Ukrainian combat capabilities. Russian OSINT estimated Ukrainian irrecoverable casualties and they're much lower than Russian. You read that. Where? I can read things too. Many are fabricated. Ukraine isn't suffering colossal losses because their retained combat effectiveness disproves it. Colossal losses hinder combat capability. Even a 20% loss reduces combat capability to a minimum.

@dougdownunder5622 the reality of Russian losses in Bakhmut has arrived, but people refuse to see it

No world peace when you reward the war.

Their trained soldiers are either pushing daisies, missing limbs or trapped in Kherson.

The Colonel who predicted Ukrainian defeat months ago?
