  3. SelectCircle Seriously, you think welterweights don't have walkaround weight they cut before the fight? Most people are not fighting in their natural weight because otherwise they'd be forced to fight with people who are heavier at the time of the fight.

  4. OneLove94 My brother is just a cm taller than me and has 4" reach advantage. He can spend months eating garbage and not doing anything (until two months ago he wasn't doing anything, not even running) and yet his torso looked like one of those ergonomic keyboards. I step out of line, my abs go away and I look soft. I can't fault him for being born with a body type that allows him to look lean even when his internal organs are covered in lard, or have a ludicrous reach for his height.

  11. ​ @cipherP9  He wasn't moving to stand up. He was getting head hunted for sport, his body was rolling away as a reflex defense against the threat, then when the ref calls it off he plants his hands on the ground. If the ref didn't intervene, he wouldn't have gotten up.

  13.  @cipherP9  Ref has to see, decide on whether to make the call, then actually get in the way to wave it off. Human reaction time is what, 220-250 milliseconds? Add another half second to cover the distance with a hop and raise the arms. Basically, the fight was over 3/4ths of a second before we got to the point where Aljo could have done something. The ref can't read minds, if you want to do something you have to do something. Not wait for the 20th unanswered shot and hope the ref can see the cunning plan.
