  3. +Judy Kirlin but the did a "wrong" thing - by shortening the barrel he committed a felony. How is he doing the right thing? He's not doing anything unless he was going to go on a shooting. By standing with him are you standing with breaking gun control laws? Because if we all do that I'm all for it. But as it stands, the average gun owner would get 10 years in prison for shortening a rifle barrel. This coward does it on camera and I bet nothing will come from it.

  7. For what? Illegally manufacturing a Short Barrel Weapon? He's now a criminal and his actions could lead to 10 years in jail because of his own stupidity. He's for gun control, but doesn't know the gun control laws already in place.

  8. It doesn't matter if it's totally ineffective or not. Cutting the barrel does not disable it and it's a CRIME without the proper paperwork with the ATF. And to legally destroy a firearm you need to take the receiver, the actual serialized part, and torch cut it into three pieces. You can't saw it in two, according to the law it's still a firearm. Cutting the barrel doesn't even count because it's not a serialized part.

Rather than me saying why would one need one, I'd like you to name a few characteristics the AR15 has that make it dangerous/aren't present in other rifles. I'll do my best to explain to you why such characteristics are necessary/are present in many other rifles you don't know.

  12. Even then to legally destroy a rifle it needs to be torch cut into three. Sawing it in half isn't sufficient because they consider it too easy to reweld.
