@georgekostaras That didn't happen. The Iraqi Bodycount project tallied around 220,000 deaths. Most were attributed to sectarian violence, kidnappings followed by execution, suicide bombings, etc. It wasn't American bullets. It wasn't American bombs. It wasn't American missiles. It was Iraqis with guns and knifes and vests with explosives. Kidnapping people for ransom and murdering them. People killing each other for being the wrong kind of Muslim. In fact in 2007 the Anbar Awakening and the Surge were effective at curbing violence.
