  2. We're persistence hunters. We have better cardio and we have more efficient running biomechanics. We didn't survive by fighting monkeys, we survived by chasing larger animals until they gassed out. You find that often survival strategies don't always reward the fittest, just who gamed the meta. There's fish which survived millions of years simply because they lay tends of thousands of eggs. They're bad at surviving on their own, but as a collective they keep on trucking by spamming a ton of offspring. Humans gamed the meta by chasing animals which sprint away from sprinters like cheetahs. We don't need massive strength, just numbers and persistence.
