How do you know the radar saw the same objects? If there's radar glitches and you're sent to investigate, and you see a trash bag floating in the air, you're going to think the trash bag was the cause of the radar signals.

@giantarcsfora9279 You should look into the declassified reports of SOLVED ufo cases. Yeah, they see ufos all the time. They report them all the time. And sometimes it's possible to pinpoint exactly what they were. You'd be surprised. But nobody likes being surprised by the truth. "radars all tracking the same objects at the same time" - I'm going to need proof of this. "Trash bags which accelerate from 0 to 50,000 miles per hour?" - Again, going to need proof of this. The acceleration values would be corroborated by sound recording (which is used in anti-submarine surveillance) and thermal imaging because anything going that fast is going to heat the air like a meteorite. So where is all the proof?

To be fair, the average civilian isn't being sent to investigate strange contacts off the coast. The reason it's the military is because they're the ones equipped to see it. The 2017 Chile ufo footage was an airliner. People see aircraft flying, nothing strange. The Chile coast guard or navy or whatever has a helicopter with a FLIR pod, and they see an infrared signal but beyond visual range? UFO.

Neocons are people on the right who are less traditionalist and more globalist than palocons. They exist and they're a problem.

@samaten1386 "now we have government officials giving credit to the footage" - Because unlike the fakes, the footage is real. And mind, they simply said the footage is real. They didn't say what it was.

@samaten1386 "why are they being "so open" about the UFO phenomena in this moment and not in the past?" - I'm not entirely familiar with the historical precedent. When footage of UFOs (or UAPs) was obtained through legitimate means did the government ever deny the footage was real? Because most of the UFO denial from the government was them covering up for secret aircraft or early warning systems that detected nuclear tests in the Soviet Union through high altitude listening pods. "do you believe this is the first footage of this kind ever being leaked?" - From the US? I'm unsure, but Chile did release footage of an unexplained flying object in 2017. It was the one that "pooped" black clouds. When the internet got to the footage, they determined it was an airliner being picked up by thermal camera. Lining up the footage with the position of the Navy helicopter that took it made the phenomenon line up with an airliner that was flying 60 miles away, flying into the Pacific Ocean.
