@CBDguitar Sure. How is that related? Maddow used the same defense, I believe. Stossel sued a factchecker due to his posts being erased from social media and in court they also used the defense that it's just opinion and not an actual fact check.

He gave money openly, but nobody knows about it unless they heard it from the "crazy internet people". Also, plenty of these outlets deserved to shut down. News outlets should trade in trustworthiness and at a time where trust is at an all time low, it's the job of the market to cause bad business to fall and give room for good business to flourish. Just by thinking a couple of seconds longer you'd have figured out that you're defending a bailout of failing businesses. They're failing because they can't be trusted. And now they have a hand that feeds them, and you don't bit that hand.
