  1. This is ridiculous. The F-35 would always be needed because the F-22/23 would be the F-15 replacement but the whole point of having an expensive and overpowered air superiority fighter is that you also purchase a good number of cheaper multiroles to handle. So the F-23 would still be paired with a F-35. The A-10 is already being replaced by F-16s and Strike Eagles.

  2.  @redjaypictures4528  With a top speed of 1.6 Mach it's hardly sluggish, especially considering it will be flying without external weapons or fuel tanks.
