Because most of the contents are actually not that interesting and most of the information was public already.

@chasmurphy1227 Norway did not have a P-8 aircraft yet. The minesweeper class he mentioned was not at BALTOPS 22. Jans Stoltenberg could not have worked for the Americans during Vietnam as he was in his teens.
9
He's a hero for writing a piece of bad technothriller fiction?
7
He has lied.
7
@wigglyk2796 Iraq had WMDs, though. American soldiers suffered neurological damage when they were found and were exposed to nerve agent by accident.
6
Russia can't even get to Odessa.
5
@backdrop8469 It's not "denial", you're simply looking at a photoshopped casualty chart. If you look at the leaks there's several pages discussing Russian and Ukrainian force composition, and yet only one page had the photoshop.
5
In 2008 Putin said Crimea was Ukrainian and he wouldn't invade. During his presidency Medvedev said Ukraine was free to pick their allies.
4
NATO is not in Ukraine.
3
Not true. Russia has a 3:1 loss ratio.
3
Russian troops are always filming videos begging for ammunition.

@Perisemiotics The democratically elected president had already had one election overturned in 2004 thanks to ballot stuffing and voter intimidation. The democratically elected president passed laws against freedom of assembly, freedom of speech and freedom of press. He was also known for excessively prosecuting or slapping bogus charges on his political opposition. He ordered cops to crack down on protesters, and paid hired thugs to help the violence. He fled the country, his own party disavowed him, and the democratically elected parliament relieved him of his duties since he was gone. This democratically elected president you love would have cops beat you, criminals beat you, your journalists arrested, make you unable to protest, arrest your political leaders. That's the man you defend. A coward in a suit who had people murdered when the riot police fired steel slugs designed to disable car engine blocks into crowds.

@OragamiSpliff Lone Survivor the Marcus Lutrell story? Not really, that's the Navy SEALs taking over a mission that was meant for a larger number of Marines that lead to them being overwhelmed.
2
@Emperors_Deathangel Not true. The military didn't split and rebel. Some of the military in Crimea was absorbed into the Russian military. This happened before any civilian death, it was just a formality. Donbas was being used as a launch platform for Russian artillery. Russia uses Hamas tactics in which they shell Ukraine, then when Ukraine hits back they complain about civilian casualties. Even though it was Russia who used the Ukrainian civilians as human shields. Russian was never banned.
2
If you look at a conflict map from a month ago, there's barely any movement.
2
Because turning off the tap is breach of contract.
2
So putin is saying that 100 foreign SOF can defeat his entire army?
2
faizaprilian560 Dude with the Z profile pic commenting. Go fight! Now!
2
@EvergreenWannabee You are justifying aggression by claiming the pretext is "huge".
2
So the secret mission involved the US, Norway, Sweden, Denmark and now the UK. Is there anyone who wasn't informed?
2
@gigie555 The boats he claim were used did not stop over the area meaning that divers would have to swim several hours. The P-8 aircraft was not in Norwegian service, but American. A secret mission required Norway, Sweden and Denmark to be involved, but somehow nobody in Congress would know about it. Jans Stoltenberg was 16 years old when Vietnam ended but the article claims he was working for America since then.
2
@benjamin ollis Ukraine was never a direct or indirect threat to Russia.
2
"The go-slow approach also reduces civilian casualties, making it harder for media outlets to work that angle." - What a joke. Russia is slaughtering civilians. And the media outlets could just claim they were even if they stopped. "RF losses are minimal" - Pure comedy. The Russians are creating volunteer armies to replace the losses.
2
@paintsilj Laughing isn't an argument. It's a defensive alliance. Now disprove it.
2
@@memememeson3994 Fun fact: you're wearing a Z but you're posting online instead of fighting. Fun fact: it being 2022 doesn't mean countries have to give up their defenses.
2
@ericsuarez834 Russia still broke the agreement.
2
@ericsuarez834 Serbia (not Yugoslavia) was genociding Kosovars.
2
@mangofish9079 If I have your car in my garage, it can belong to you all you want. I have it and I can break into it to drive it if I wish to.
2
@OxanaX3203 False. Ukraine wasn't created by the USSR, Ukraine was fighting Bolsheviks before the USSR was formed.
2
@steinbauge4591 Yes, it was the Ukraine SSR. A republic inside the USSR. Ukraine had the nukes, if they wanted to control them nobody would have been able to stop them. But Ukraine was debilitated by the costs of paying for the Chernobyl victims (they had a very generous program all things considered) so they wouldn't invest money there and giving the nukes up was more logical. However, they knew that they needed security assurances in exchange.
2
@@memememeson3994 Fun fact: you're a Z-boy which means you are sending Russians who don't want to fight. You don't need to fight to be right. You need others to fight for you while you post online.
2
No, because in jail you're given the draft papers.
2
@balisuncocoyt "is closer to what has been reported by averaging from several sources" - The Russian ones? "to know the truth you need to dig deeper ..." - Where? In Russia?
2
Reserve to be partial mobilized to go to Ukraine. What's the difference?
2
Because there's been no ethnic cleansing. Fatalities in the Donbass didn't break the three digits after the conflict subsided. And most casualties were from accidents with misplaced mines and unexploded ordnance.
2
@sashazxtt Spare me the same old copy pasted arguments. Almost nobody was dying in Donetsk.
2
@Perisemiotics Georgia didn't attack "ethnic Russians", they attacked separatist fighters.
2
That's not what happened. The US told Khrushchev that Castro was a madman and he agreed. The US agreed to also remove weapons from Turkey. The West was not going to put weapons in Ukraine.
2
@benjamin ollis Sanity is defending genocide and torture?
2
He's never blown the whistle. He just printed documents to show his gamer friends.
2
@marceloorellana5726 False. Ukraine did it physically in 1917-1921. The reason they were one of the founding members of the Soviet Union was because even though they had to make peace with the Bolsheviks, they fought hard enough to secure themselves as a nation and were not absorbed into the Russian republic. Nothing on the rules says they must do it themselves. Portugal had British help against Spain. The US had French help against the British. Russia took their chances. Now their army is getting bloodied and Ukrainian artillery's reach encompasses beyond the Russian border. If Russia wasn't a nuclear power, at this point China, Japan and Finland would be claiming their disputed territories. The world isn't fair. Wear a cup.
2
@g.hon.4645 The Taliban never fought the USSR. The Taliban were a bunch of "religious crusaders" who entered Afghanistan from the Pakistan border area and took advantage of the Afghan civil war after the Soviets left. When the Taliban appeared, the US continued to back the mujahedin Northern Alliance. In 2001 when the US invaded Afghanistan, the first SOF units who showed up fought side by side with Northern Alliance fighters against the Taliban.
1
@nzuncovered1845 Who said anything about Syria? The conversation was about Afghanistan.
1
@nzuncovered1845 We supported the Kurds. Now what? You're gonna lie and say the Taliban fought the USSR even though they weren't in Afghanistan at the time?
1
How is it a step towards nuclear war? It's two more nations that are off limits. That means peace. 14 thousand were killed on BOTH SIDES. Three thousand Ukrainian servicemen. Five thousand separatists. Most deaths occurred in the first two years of fighting. Military forces killing each other isn't a genocide.

Budapest Memorandum, 1994.
1
@melmorrison1400 No such thing happened. Cope about it.
1
Russia got murdered in the Winter. Remember February? Columns of burned out vehicles and mangled bodies in the streets. I suggest watching those videos again. Winter killed Russia.
1
It makes perfect sense. Oligarchs kill Putin, make money off gas. No pipe, no money.
1
The millions that fled Ukraine are women in children.
