  1. No. When someone is close to the muzzle, you blast them with the specs of unburnt powder and heated gasses. This creates burns and the pattern can be used to judge how close the person was to the weapon firing. There's uninterrupted footage of Kyle and he never shot before the confrontation, so the steel barrel could not be hot enough to burn skin on contact. But Rosenbaum did get shot in the hand attempting to grab the barrel.

  4. "that person can shoot and kill Kyle and for it to be self defense" - No, they can't. Those people would be part of the same mob as Rosenbaum. "They aren’t a single entity" - Doesn't matter, they were acting as such and in "defense" of the aggressor, therefore making them also aggressors. If they don't want to be a single entity, they cannot be part of a hivemind. You don't have to "prove" anything, the victim fears for their life because he's being attacked by people "defending" the aggressor. It's all part of a force continuum, not individual instances of fights that reset and make everything a clean slate a picosecond after the aggressor touches the ground.

  5. It seems like they have a lower budget. Having a cheap program that "competes" with a more prominent one to soak up views is the definition of a discount version. When Family Guy came out many said it was just the "discount version of The Simpsons".
