Lieutenant-Commander Wilson RNR of the Bengal , received the Distinguished Service Order.
Australian Able Bodied Seaman Bertram Albert George Hammond RAN (Royal Australian Navy) MV Ondina, received the Distinguished Service Medal and the Bronzen Kruis (Bronze Cross) on May 22nd, 1943. However, this medal was replaced by a much higher honour, being “The Netherland’s Bronze Lion” with an “Honourable Mention.”
