Across the Pacific Ocean to Japan, from the Red Sea !!! Geography is terrible.

@thomasb1889 Prey tell, how could Italy do that?

You go across the Indian Ocean, across the South China sea, across the East China Sea to get to Japan, unless you are suggesting through the Indian Ocean, across the South Atlantic Ocean. across the south and North Pacific Ocean, that is the only way to cross the Pacific Ocean. The ships probability never even entered the Pacific Ocean as after the East China Sea they entered to Inland Sea.

I dont follow your logic at all.If the Suez Canal is shut the ships still transit up the Red Sea to Egypt.

@stevevalley7835 Not sure where Suez City is? The Suez Canal was a little over the width of one ship, so unless you tied them together like sausages the most you get in the Canal is one ship. If its going to take more than a day to refloat it will be blown apart by explosives. The way that most cargo was landed was by lighters and tugs from vessels at anchor.

@stevevalley7835 There is no place called Suez City . It is a figment of your imagination. The Port at the East end of the Suez Canal is Port Tewfik. After the 67 war there were bridges of sand bulldozed across the canal by both sides, and it had also silted up. You can at best get one ship in with a sneak attack. For ship disposal in a Canal look at the Panama Canal Plan. When you transit the Panama Canal you are required to sign a waver allowing the Canal Authorities yo dynamite your ship if it sinks. To block any attempt all eo reach the canal the allies needed to do was place mines in Suez anchorage or at the entrance of the Gulf of Suez,, Im sure minefields were in place
