@nacho71ar Total fiction, The Argentinian Fascists first invaded South Georgia where they had no pretend claim to. They "Argentinian Marines" who invaded the Falkland's then spent 1000's of rounds of ammunition on the Moody Brook Barracks but they were empty. The "Peaceful Fascists" then held the local populace at gunpoint! They should go back to throwing unarmed students out of helicopters over the River Plate "only after the pregnant ones have given birth. Simple solution, the first time the argentinian sabre rattle they lose the aircraft.

@wor53lg50 Go pull your winkle if you can find it!

@BobSmith-dk8nw Do not blame your tools
1
@alganhar1 The BBC only broadcast what the Ministry of Defence allowed them to, it was all censored. If your looking for blame try the MOD, they were the ones scrapping HMS Endurance, selling the new HMS Invincible to Australia. Selling HMS Intrepid to Argentina. They would soon get HMS Sheffield destroyed because in was on the Sat phone to the MOD with is anti missile radar switched off.

They also lost

Very interesting, thank you

@ Maybe do some history research??? Why did the US come in WW" ? It wasn't because the Nazis invaded France, Belgium, Greece, Netherlands. Norway , Demark or Poland!!

Your Father was a Ben Line Officer?
1
@arandomfawn5289 Not like the USA who built the much inferior B17
1
@platinepatriot1353 I rather think you need to look to the USA as the sponsor, Britain always supported Chile in that regional power struggle. The USA in there fight against "commies" liked dictators. Argentina was at the end of a line that the USA used to send helpful Nazi's after WW2, the line was run by the Vatican , what a great peace loving trio, USA, Nazi's and the Catholic Church.
1
@roberthardy3090 I agree, the original Mad Cow was also planning to sell an Amphibious assault ship to Argentina. She also knew a year prior to the invasion that Argentina planned an invasion and did nothing about it. Just be cause Britain sell them weapons it does not make them friends .Maggie sold weapons to any one.

If all detail are correct this design would make a very useful drone design. Frontline operation, short take off and landing, rearm refuel and reuse.

Thank you

Operation Sea Lion was never a real possibility.
1
@markbowen3638 Understood, have you seen the German records?
1
@LucioFercho I have no idea what your point is. All armies used captured equipment and it could be fro one to hundreds. In North Africa the Allies only used one captured weapon at the end, it was the Flak 88. Early in the war they used vast quantities of captured Italian guns and tanks. The Australian "Bush Gunners " used Italian artillery in Tobruk against the Germans while the British Gunners used 75 pounders.
1
The British used Italian tanks in North Africa, Syria and Lebanon.
1
@jimjim2953 Not seen them, read about them

@comentedonakeyboard And your pointless point? The Germans started WW!, maybe go and read about there murderous invasion of the neutral country Belgium!
