The USA in there fight against "commies" liked dictators. Argentina was at the end of a line that the USA used to send helpful Nazi's after WW2, the line was run by the Vatican , what a great peace loving trio, USA, Nazi's and the Catholic Church.

She also knew a year prior to the invasion that Argentina planned an invasion and did nothing about it. Just be cause Britain sell them weapons it does not make them friends .Maggie sold weapons to any one.

  36.  @LucioFercho  I have no idea what your point is. All armies used captured equipment and it could be fro one to hundreds. In North Africa the Allies only used one captured weapon at the end, it was the Flak 88. Early in the war they used vast quantities of captured Italian guns and tanks. The Australian "Bush Gunners " used Italian artillery in Tobruk against the Germans while the British Gunners used 75 pounders.
