  1. There was an interesting peace deal between the US Forces and the Spanish in the Philippines. The Spanish approached the US and made the following deal. We pretend to fight for a week, some shooting and shelling. We surrender to you, not the Filipinos, you send us back to Spain. This happened. Maybe Hitler could have offered a similar type deal to Britain while he moved his armies East.
