  2. I am skeptical about Beevor as I find his ego gets in the way of history, he uses his “experience” of one and a half years as a Lieutenant to argue against the facts. Rather than being an advantage being ex military I think it allows him to “correct” the facts in a manner no professional historian should do. Those who do do, those who can't teach.
