  1.  @clamum9648  There was 3 miles of road, all around Port Stanley, all the rest of the island was roadless and is a mixture of sodden bog and mountains with rock rivers, maybe read some accounts of the yomp? Maybe listen to what happened to most of the helicopter's? The remain helicopters were Wessexs used to bring food and ammunition forward and take wounded back. The terrain destroyed the soldiers boots!
