  1. The First World War was fought in East Africa, West Africa, Southern Africa, Papua New Guinea, China. What is now Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Palestine Syria and all the Balkan States. Naval battles in North and South Atlantic, Indian Ocean, North and South Pacific, Mediterranean. Definitely a World War.

  3. Italy invaded, France, Greece, Albania, British Somalia, Yugoslavia, Kenya, Egypt, Tunisia, they did not invade Libya, they were already there, it was a colony, the reward for supporting the Allies in WW1.

  4. You cannot call the German invasion of Poland a border war. Germany and Russia had agreed to split Poland. Russia got Finland, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. Germany got Austria, Czechoslovakia and Hungry. Britain and France had committed to support Poland's freedom.
