  11. I am amused to see very old Seamanship being used at 4000m on the ROV. They are using Polyprop rope tied in a Monkeys Fist knot to help the ROV rig the the recovery rigging. I used to make Monkey Fists when I was on ROV and Dive Support Vessels.

  13. The fatality on the Ocean Odyssey was totally unnecessary. The crew were in the lifeboats and the OIM sent the radio operator to shut down the satellite com's equipment, the gas exploded and he was killed. The OIM failed to return to the UK for the inquiry and an arrest warrant was issued.
