@Swoljoel yeah voting for a political party is a good start though. Do your research on the national and local candidates. Reform seems to be doing well with Nigel Farage so far...

@HailEarendil and how do yo go about enacting real change that won't involve the state coming down on your head? In a sense you are correct; politics is the problem but it is also the solution. You cannot stop the boats without government force, just as an example. Now imagine being in control over that government..

@Vaultboy101 it's still the only way to enact change. Seeing that those in power right now wield it to destroy the country. This means it is important enough to fight for. But just like I asked the other person just now, how do you intend to stop the boats without government force? Don't you think it is better to control that government force through politics?

@HailEarendil OK, how exactly are you going to do that without state power? If you do it personally you'd be labelled a criminal and the force of the state will come down on your head. So that realistically is out of the question because it is apparent that you can do nothing on your own. A better idea is to swallow your pride and get involved in politics, vote for candidates or become one to take seats which gives you power and influence, then begin to work your will into the system for the change you want to see in the UK. Everything else is a waste of time. Look, even muslims are now taking up council seats and are beginning to amass power, you think those people don't appreciate the benefits of state power? I hope you will do more than just flex on the Internet, I most sincerely hope you have sturdier minerals than that.
