If the WHO declares the the pandemic, the bond is activated and the money will be given to countries who need it. If not, the purchasers of the bond will pocket the money after the bond matures.   44. The greatest truth and irony to what you just said is the CCP's grab for Hong Kong now. If they take Hong Kong they would have violated their own contract to leave it alone to 2047. Doing so shows the whole world that the CCP are liars and can never hold on to contracts. This would be the best excuse for all countries to renege on their contractual ties with China and sieze their assets. It would also be a great catalyst to economically isolate the CCP until they return Hong Kong, which they won't do, so they will lose even more face and remain isolated. Meanwhile Hong Kong people for the most part will move to Taiwan and make them more successful. It would be nice to avoid sacrificing Hong Kong but there's also an opportunity to twist the knife into the CCP's side.
