I do wonder about that. If the goal is to have a minimal life where basic standards are met then yeah he is a POS, but he does make good points about poor countries with no social safety net but really high birth rates. If the poorest country in the world like Niger can have children, what's stopping the Japanese? Or Europeans for that matter? I think a lot of people don't want to be inconvenienced like their grand parents were during economic depressions and blame it all on the economy. If anyone really wanted kids then they would and figure out ways to raise them but this generation doesn't want to make that sacrifice, it's all about me me me all the way to extinction.
