  7.  @wkrp01  it is arrogant of Ukraine to think they can join nato and not have Russia attack them in the first place. That arrogance also extends to the sheer stupidity to think they can beat Russia in a stand up fight while sitting on Russia's door step.

  9. If Trump doesn't win in November, there will be nuclear war soon after because only Trump can end the this war by stopping military funding to Ukraine. I don't think Russia will show any further restraint if a stop gap like Trump isn't installed into the western machinery.

  10. I am a Trump supporter but this is the only policy I disagree with him on (at least at the moment). Instead of cracking the whip on dissenters Trump would have been better served to court these BRIC members back to using the USD instead of the quite frankly tyrannical use (some would say abuse) of USA power to dominate others. His post rubbed me the wrong way because he pretty much just said that every country on Earth must remain prisoner and shackled to the USA via the USD. There was a world that existed without this type of domination and I would like to go back to that now. If anything the BRIC countries will simply wait out Trump's 4 years then proceed business as usual when the next republican or democrat takes office. Or they could remind the USA that most countries and BRIC members already own USA debt that they could collectively decide to call back in in response to such threats. What then USA? Also, I do not believe that selling to the USA is the only means the world economy functions. South East Asia can absorb goods being produced by China as can Latin America. It's only Africa and parts of the Middle East that still lags behind while Europe with their ridiculous focus on not manufacturing anything is already dependent on China exports. I say call Trump's bluff, stop selling to the USA let them make their stuff then slap 1000% on their products instead. We all might as well trade war then.

It's like that time they blanched after finding out iran supplies drones and missiles to Russia meanwhile Europe and USA supplied everything including main battle tanks and fighter jets to Ukraine but Russia getting supplied but China, Iran and North Korea they bawlk at. And to be clear I don't support any of those other countries except Russia but I cannot stand nor tolerate sheer hypocrisy, especially from the west.

  19.  @olegbal5633  Not saying that it is, we are already in the status quo of Pax Americana. What would be sensible is to keep these countries within compliance through diplomacy and gracious approaches rather than use threats. Russia is still out of SWIFT, why the heck should they listen to anything the USA says? Every country took note of that banning and now recognize the USD as a shackle. If Trump wanted to make things good he would allow Russia back into SWIFT and then engage in dialog with these countries to stay their hand.
