@ilvailvandoniherde496 I like how you leave out every failed social experiment that has led to insane losses of human life and economic prosperity. Tell us what the Soviet Union, pre economic reform cultural revolution China, the Khmer rouge, Cuba, North Korea and Venezuela attempted? Yeah, kindly explain then if what they all attempted wasn't attempts at implementing various flavours of marxism?

@ilvailvandoniherde496 well this is as good as it gets. We have already tried other systems and it resulted in the deaths of 250 million people in the last 100 years, never mind untold suffering that happened then and still occurs now because countries like Cuba, Venezuela, North Korea and Communist China are still perpetuating elements of those experimental systems. The implementation of capitalism is the only economic system that comes close to human nature, every other system failed to take human nature into account. If you cannot understand this then no other system will work and we have the results of the systems that tried, even to this day. Capitalism is not perfect but it is damn well better than anything marxism has to offer.

I also like how you easily brushed aside 250 million deaths in the last hundred years because people wanted a "better" system. And yes, my point still stands; the capitalist system is the closest model to human psychology that actually does produce benefit, capitalism is the only system to have uplifted billions of people from poverty in these last hundred years, NOTHING else comes close. Every other system has resulted in millions of deaths and suffering. The Chinese middle class exists because of capitalism, you will notice in countries where the middle class is shrinking has nothing to do with capitalism, just pure corruption by an elite few manipulating the system, if laws were followed then the forced wealth transfer would not be happening. People like you who argue for what literally is socialism at this point always fail to account for human beings will behave in such systems, if you don't understand human psychology and the built in incentive mechanism in humans then every other system you try will fail. It is that simple.

@ilvailvandoniherde496 and I am saying that we should not be engaging in socialist policies at all. Taxation of income is theft already, what's worse is socialist programs that take money and give it to people when the population is ever growing, this will cause a death spiral of finances that will bankrupt the country. Every country that has engaged in social policies is becoming bankrupt because the poor people they socialise with free money never get better in terms of economic positions but they have more children to maximise the money hand out. So no, I absolutely reject this notion of socialist policies. It's like that saying; socialism is great until you run out of other people's money. I have lived in third world countries without social programs and safety nets and the people there are the most hard working I have ever observed. They all know that life is hard but they don't sit around begging for hand outs, they innovate ways to earn money and are always hustling and they make things work, i.e. Nigeria, Mexico. No one I spoke to ever said that they wanted social programs for free money, they mostly wanted to sell me stuff to make a buck, I respect that hustle. And the fact that you are praising an authoritarian dictatorship in the form of the Chinese Communist party is very perturbing. Why don't you go live in China and have every aspect of your life controlled? Never mind that this transatlantic criminal organisation has murdered millions of its own people and is engaging in genocidal practices against the Tibetans, Mongolians and Uhyghurs at this very moment. NEVERMIND that they purposefully allowed the spread of a bio weapon that had resulted in 7 million deaths since late 2019. You must be off your rocker to say anything good about those maniacs, so please stop right there, I like to think that you are not a CCP plant or worse yet; a CCP simp.

@David-gy6fv the economy is capitalistic, the government is socialist this is the truth and why people some how think that Scandinavian economies are socialist when they are not. It's the same with Vietnam, the economy is capitalist but the government itself remain communists. As such the economy can be considered as free market as it can get.
