  10. That's what the IOC wants so they can get money from the broadcasting rights. Ticket sales account for 100 million dollars but media is 20 billion dollars, that's the only reason the IOC wants the games.

  38. Only the IOC can cancel the Olympics. Japan has no say in the matter, Japan will be in breach of the contract and have to compensate the IOC if Japan doesn’t host the games.
