IOC won't cancel the money train for the broadcast rights to televise the games. The IOC needs that revenue.

@americangiant1003 The IOC has stated nothing is going to stop the Olympics. They have said the cases in Japan don't concern them because they will be in their own bubble. They said they are going from the airport to hotel to the sports venue back to the hotel and or airport only. Broadcast the games which provides 80% of the Olympic budget and leave. There could be complete chaos in Tokyo but it won't stop the games. I also don't like the fact the medical system is already strained and the IOC want the government to transfer doctors, nurses and other medical people to assist in testing and medical issues for the Olympics.

@americangiant1003 That would be good. If the IOC couldn't televise it and get the broadcast money, do you think they would hold the games just for the athletes?
