Foreigners have less opportunities because they can't speak, read and write in fluent almost native Japanese. How can you fill out an application or forms of any kind if you can't read what it says or fill it out because you can't write Japanese? If you worked in business, will you be able to do a presentation in Japanese and understand and answer questions asked of you in Japanese. Businesses aren't there to teach you, they need for you to work. The language is the biggest barrier in Japan. If you are fluent in English and Japanese, you will be an asset.
