  28. What a lot of people do is choose the Japanese passport but also get the other passport but don't tell the Japanese officials and make sure you use the Japanese passport when entering Japan. A lot of Japanese/Americans do this.

  31. Japanese people read manga and watch anime but otakus are obsessed with it. They will watch "Your Name" or "Kimi no na wa" and buy the figures, visit the places in the anime and watch the DVD, 100 times.

  39. It just gets to a point where the language barrier is too much work. It's easier to communicate to a Japanese woman. You don't have to explain "everything, all the time". Relationships are hard enough without the added burden of being a teacher too.

  43. I was in the same situation, people here talking about being underage is an issue. For me the consulate said, when I became a US citizen my mother on my behave signed with her acknowledgement and renounced my Japanese citizenship. When you are underage, your parents consents for you.

  44. I agree, we saved up and want to go wild in Japan, so what if we throw some trash on the ground, someone will pick it up. We are spending our tourists money, do what we want and I don't care what the problem is, my money dictates that it's done my way.
