  1. The IOC is not cancelling the money train. They have basically said there could be an apocalypse and the games would still be played.

  2.  Rykiel Toh  Broadcast rights. NBC is paying a billion dollars to televise the games and add to the millions from the other 200 plus countries, the amount is estimated to be around 20 billion.

  3.  Rykiel Toh  What do the buildings have to do with IOC owning the broadcast rights to the games. Once the games are over the IOC has nothing to do with the host city, the IOC doesn't care. They have moved on to the site of the next games.
