  2. They don't wear them all the time. They wear them so as not to spread their germs when they have a cold. They stop wearing them when the virus is gone maybe a week. You wouldn't want to spread your cold to the kids.

  4. Typical for Japanese schools but at International schools, they do because the western parents don't want their kids to serve food and clean, they find it demeaning and feel it's slave labor, when you can pay someone to do it.
