  1. It comes down to employment. If people could have the same job and pay as they do in Tokyo and live in Ehime, most people would do it. That's why a lot of people commute to Tokyo for 1 or 2 hours from Saitama, Chiba and Kanagawa. People leave the countryside because there aren't any jobs there.
