These carmakers want to continue to do what they did since ages. Major change for them means packing even more electronics into the package, which are not even developed by them. Changing the seat material to fabric is a revolution in their mindset. I am meanwhile convinced they are unable to really innovate and change. They should just die, go off from the market. There is a fresh mindset needed.
