  1. I am not speaking about his capabilities, but to me personally he has no charisma as a leader. He rather works out to be like an accountant. Either he needs more time to prove reliable and good work, or he needs to learn a bit of sparkle here and there. PS: Just as I finished writing the above, she said the same. Ha!

  5. Do not listen to the US media and their crooked imaginary about democracy. These are clumsy people with not much clue about the world outside the US. In times when Thailand's stability was in danger the army jumped in. It was absolutely necessary and even Thais meanwhile agree that the Army government has done a lot of good things with regards to food safety, education, industrial production and corruption. When everything is reasonably on the right path they WILL step back again and let the parties run the country.

  6. @ The last time they also did not really like him ... but some of his "laws" and things he did. But this time he is far more consequential with his erratic actions. That's the difference. I do believe in the self-healing capabilities of democracy. I am positive, still.

  8. They are not coming to you for living in these expensive satellite towns. They are buying it for investment. On the longer run this will increase the housing prices even more far beyond the reach for your own people. Look at NZ, Canada, Hong Kong. Some normal working people and families have to live in partitioned shoebox flats or garages. Students do not find a room. Homeless % will increase, crime rate go up. Do you want that? Chinese by themselves have the rule that foreigners can only buy one property, and they have to live in it. That seems to be a reasonable rule.
