  3.  @Crispr_CAS9  Alone this year about 1500km new ground cables. The extensive new network of ground cables is an investment into the future that would benefit Germany's infrastructure anyway. Nuclear power is a dead horse. Nobody bets on dead horses. In 2035 Germany will stand there smiling. The crux with the current population, too many people hate change.

  4.  @dansihvonen8218  This is the right path to go. The government is planning to come up with suggestions to accelerate the transition even more. Unfortunately, we are living in times when people with conservative opinions shout out everywhere loudest. In 10 years the entire world will envy Germany for exactly this transition. Germany will have a modern power network, while the US for example still lives on dirty energy transported via a grid on wooden masts.
