... as the time when people elected stupid men to be their leaders.

@VINLAND_777 Nice work, admirable, you spend considerable time on compiling it. However, you come with facts, and you really believe they would have any effect on these people here?

Many people see the poor villages but don't know the pharmaceutical and medical are two leading industries in India. As well, despite all its dark spots and problems, India has plenty good and clever people, IMO. If the big elephant manages to stretch all his muscles, it will stomp down this virus. I would not be surprised.

It just teaches me, that the CCP infiltration of the world is much further than we all thought.

And you are the second-largest newspaper in circulation in India? Wow. There is a lot of rubbish in the US and Britain, but such ... ?

@VINLAND_777 Yea, I do the same sometimes. If only one then does the effort to at least read what is fact, I am glad. It is shocking, the more media we have the more misinformed people seem to become. Hindustan Times is one of the worst, just like the Fox of India. Thanks, man!

It's the same inappropriate to call-up on another country's leader in the open like this, and then even add 'so naive'.

@cheunggor7186 I must admit I do not know what exactly has been revealed, or leaked. Was it so important? Or is it only Mr. XI expected to keep things quiet, which was not Mr. Trudeau's understanding around these things? I don't know. But what to me is more relevant, that is the point Mr. Xi's image to the public in China is always being carefully crafted. Anything like that leaking incident can be misunderstood as his weakness by the Chinese public. Therefore, he had to "school" Trudeau openly in front of a camera. The translator was well aware of this fact, he even made room to take the camera image, conversation, and the following 'so naive'.

@cheunggor7186 As I tried to say, depends on if the content was private, or agreed to be private. As far as I know, it was a heated debate that revealed their bad relationship. Not a talk among friends.
1
@cheunggor7186 ... and ... what? That's what I said, it was meant to be for you.
1
@cheunggor7186 Here, he is seen shaking Trudeau's hand after he schooled him. The next day he refused to shake Thai's PM hand. Being asked he said: ... part of Chinese covid measures not shaking hands." All staged hypocrite nonsense.
1
@cheunggor7186 you are saying that Chinese media show the truth?
1
@cheunggor7186 Your truth about media is what you see through Chinese and US media (which you refer to as western media). When I lived in China, I told people about what I saw with my own eyes in the world. Chinese people kept on telling me what they had been told by the CCP.
1
@cheunggor7186 I do not think much about US media, and actually most Anglo-Saxon media for that matter. But if you gave me 2 choices only, you want to live under CCP or US system, my decision is clear. I do know both. The problem with you people is you think "The West" is all like America, and for example Germany is under US rule. So, also all media is "western", just like your media is all the same. You do not know anything else than that, because that's what you are being told since years, and starting from young in the schools already. It is literally the same as saying all Asia is like China.

@cheunggor7186 I am German. Once upon a time we also had a leader who always said he knew what people want, and had strong opinions of what he wants to achieve. If you were Singaporean, I would believe you that you have at least some clue about the world. I am living in Asia since 1995, btw.

@cheunggor7186 Bye Cheung! I thank you for the reasonable discussion. That is already something.

... and tomorrow, my dear children, I will tell you another beautiful fairytale
